Isolated neurons of molluscan Helix lucorum were exposed to 3 GHz (CW) at 2.5 & 5 W/kg, previously treated by oxytocin, and analyzed for protein profile and transmembrane current dynamics. The authors suggested that the alteration in membrane current is the underlying cause for observed changes in calcium efflux and enzyme activities. |
