Occupational radiofrequency exposure to workers in combination with other agents and correlation with brain tumors and leukemia |
Details |
|
Patients with leukemia and brain tumors were assessed for occupational exposures, with the category ‘electrically related occupations’ including radio and TV assemblers and repairmen. There was no significant increase in either leukemia or brain tumors when the entire group was analyzed, however when just radio and TV assemblers and repairmen were analyzed (only 7 cases), the risk of brain tumors showed a non-significant but increased trend (OR 2.9, 95% CI 0.3-2.5). |
